About this incentive

Up to $4,000 for heat-pump HVAC, up to $3,750 for heat-pump water heaters, and up to $1,000 for induction ranges.
Property must be in the program service area, be an existing building (no new construction), and have five or more rental units. No income requirements.

Detailed description

Eligible multifamily property owners can receive rebates from MCE to reduce project costs and no-cost technical support to complete energy upgrade projects.

To be eligible, your multifamily property:

Must be located in MCE’s service area
Must provide multifamily rental housing with 5 or more units
Must be an existing property (no new construction)

Maximum rebate amounts for each type of equipment are provided below:

Heat Pump Water Heater – up to $3,750
Heat Pump HVAC – up to $4,000
Induction Range – up to $1,000
