About this incentive

Rebate depends on what you replace: $200–$350/ton for replacing electric heat or using gas backup, and $500–$800/ton if you replace and eliminate a gas furnace.
Heat pumps must meet efficiency tiers (HSPF 8.5–10 and SEER 15–18); higher HSPF/SEER gets the larger rebate.
No income qualification.

Heat Pump (HSPF 8.5 / SEER 15) - $200 per ton Heat Pump (HSPF 9 / SEER 15) - $250 per ton Heat Pump (HSPF 9.5 / SEER 16) - $300 per ton Heat Pump (HSPF 10 / SEER 18) - $350 per ton

Replacing and eliminating gas Furnace

Heat Pump (HSPF 8.5 / SEER 15) - $500 per ton Heat Pump (HSPF 9 / SEER 15) - $700 per ton Heat Pump (HSPF 9.5 / SEER 16) - $750 per ton Heat Pump (HSPF 10 / SEER 18) - $800 per ton
