Designed for Southern California Edison (SCE) residents in disadvantaged communities, this initiative enhances comfort, reduces energy bills, and boosts property value. Follow the link to see if you qualify.
Residents receive no-cost home energy assessments along with rebates for upgrading existing homes with heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, insulation, air conditioning, duct sealing, and/or induction cooktops.
Home Performance Plus incentives can be layered with TECH Clean CA program funds. Speak with a program representative for details.
Incentive Amount:
Fuel Substitution Heat Pump Water Heaters $1350 (when replacing a 75gallon water heater - $687).
Energy upgrade Heat Pump Water Heaters $1128.
Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pumps $1144.80/ton.
Split/package Heat Pump - $667/ton fuel substitution, $424/ton replacing electric, Split package Air Conditioner $424/ton,
Duct Sealing $0.53/per square foot
Attic insulation $1.07/per square foot, Wall insulation $1.06/per square foot,
Induction cooktop $424 each.
Requirements:
Residents must be a Southern California Edison customer living within a designated disadvantage community to participate.
Residents must use a Home Performance Plus participating contractor to be eligible.
Residents must be replacing an existing natural gas appliance or upgrading their electric appliance on select incentives.
Houseon_holds utilizing income-based programs like CARE/FERA, LIHEAP, and/or ESA, among others, are not eligible for these rebates. Speak with a program representative for details.
