About this incentive

Income-qualified households can get $400–$8,802 in rebates for eligible home energy upgrades.
Work must be for existing homes (not new construction or additions that increase size >30%), with equipment purchased after 4/12/2025.

Installation must be in one of these CA counties: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Lassen, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Tuolumne, Yuba.
Typical incentives: heat-pump water heater $600–$990; heat-pump heating/cooling $600–$4,890; induction cooktop $400–$1,000; insulation/sealing up to $1,160; heat-pump laundry $450–$750.
You must be a customer in the program’s participating utility/service area.

Detailed description

Must be a PG&E or Pioneer Community Energy customer Installation site must be located within Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Lassen, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Tuolumne, and Yuba counties Equipment installed in existing building. Installations in new construction or home additions that add >30% square footage to the home are NOT eligible for rebates. Equipment must be purchased after program start - 4/12/2025
